Wad an exciting F1 race! Juz finished watching the European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring circuit, a race where Spaniard Alonso won for the fourth time this season...
This was essentially a race of attrition, many drivers were having trouble keeping their cars on the track due to tyre wear... The highlight of the race was Raikkonen crashing out with 1 lap to go, while he was race leader! His right front tyre was so worn out and blistering tat he had a flat spot on his tyre... The result was a bouncing tyre (imagine driving on a square wheel) tat put extreme stress on the front suspension holding up the trouble tyre... And the front suspension gave way, resulting in a 300km/h crash into the barriers for Kimi Raikkonen...
My beloved Williams team did relatively good, Nick Heidfeld got 2nd place thanx to Raikkonen's crash, while Webber did not even make it past the first turn of the race, got taken out by a crazy Juan Pablo Montoya... Ferrari is coming back, i can sense it... Their cars are beginning to last the entire race at good speed, Barrichello even made it to the podium by finishing 3rd...
And well now talking abt my weekend, i went to PS yesterday nite at abt 8.30pm to join kkk, jk, kl, tys and alvin... They bought earphones then we went to park lane for some arcade games... Played 3 rounds of Daytona myself... 1st round against computer, i finished in 13th place(sucks!)... 2nd round played with alvin and 2 strangers, i finished 1st(yeah!)... 3rd round played with kl, tys and kkk, i won yet again!!! Was in third approaching the final bend, but i outdragged both kkk and tys to the finishing line... haha... shiok ar!!!
This morning played soccer with some old guys at the soccer court, played damn lousy man... we lost all games except one... i scored onli 1 pathetic goal, basket... seriously think its high time i hang up my soccers, they are torn anyway, dun think i'll be buying new boots, no money... Perhaps Nelson can get me a Diadora soccer boots sponsorship deal???

Todae is eat-with-your-family day, so the entire PAD got released at 4 pm(hurray!!), and i "nan de" reached home at 1730... usually at this time we onli juz starting falling in for RO... And i very guai oso, really ate dinner with my family lei, so SAF cannot charge me... haha...
Todae CQ is as usual very slack, whole day onli carry 3000 trashbags, some masking tape and 6 giant plywoods into the store... Actually todae kena aimed by CQMS, he wanted me to cycle into depot with him to do stock check, but too bad the bike too small, i got difficulty pedalling, so another guy went instead... lol...
Heard next week i may be attached to SEAD, to escort ammo back to PAD... They will choose the East side ppl cos we'll be falling out from SEAD... Actually the escort job quite nice i think, i muz draw M16 with live rounds, then sitting inside the SAF 10-tonner to escort the container of ammuniton behind... quite stylo right?

Liverpool won the champions league! Its a pity i did not get up to watch the game, bcos it was a thriller... Milan led 3-0 at half-time, onli to let Liverpool back into the game and eventually lose the trophy on penalties... Credit to Pool 'keeper Jerzy Dudek for saving 3 penalties...
Well todae was a non-happening day at PAD, nothing much to do, juz tat we lost a man for the CQ cos Nelson went to Melbourne for his vacations... This guy really too much, got gf alady still go Melbourne look for the 2 gers he likes... LOL!
And well looks like i'll be available this weekend, the outing i wanted did not materialise... But its ok, i can sense some positive notes this time, at least not total isolation... Jus pray for the very best lor...

Well as u can see my blog has a new layout... think it looks so much nicer than the previous one...
Very very happy cos my beloved Williams F1 team finally had their first good result of the season... Both drivers were on the podium, with Heidfeld clinching P2 and Webber finishing in 3rd place... It was a very motivated drive by the team, with Webber qualifying in P3 on the grid as a start...
Though the slow starting Williams car dropped to 5th place by the 1st corner, neither Webber nor Heidfeld hesitated to push their cars all the way, despite racing on a Monaco street circuit tats notoriously hard to overtake on... A safety car period plus some fantastic work by the Williams pit crew put the cars back onto the sharp end with less than 10 laps remaining... Heidfeld managed to grab 2nd place away from Alonso, who was suffering tyre wear problems, by outbraking him at the chicane... Webber overtook Alonso using the same way, though he took 2 tries... Kimi Raikkonen ran away from the start, there was no way of catching him at all, so the Williams cars finished the race in formation to grab a total of 14 championship points for the team...
This performance by the Williams team really gave me lotsa of motivation, lotsa of courage... nothing is impossible really... even an unfancied team can finish on the podium, as long as u put ur heart and mind into it... I shld start my life afresh and forget wadeva unhappy memories in the past, its time to really let go... And perhaps go for my new target in life...

Approaching the end of a very long weekend, basically played alot of pool, plus going ktv and playing bball... Dunno why, feel tat all those fun i had was very superficial, they r the tings i thot i wanna spend the weekend on, but somehow there's still this void inside of me that cant be filled by pool, ktv etc... Feeling so empty inside....
Anyway the weekend's already over so no point thinking bout anything anymore... Tmrl going back PAD to resume sweeping dead leaves until, i presume, 21 June when my course starts...
I suddenly realised that something may be wrong wif me, perhaps there are some things from the bad side of me which i do not know... Can anyone of u out there kindly tell me???

Juz came back from a bball match wif the Senghou gang, a match which we won 100-83 against Alson's team... It was really fantastic to win cos we were usually the losers, think its some added motivation from watching Coach Carter that helped us produce this result... My personal contributions were 23 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 block... Haha...
Also watched the FA Cup final last night, 1st half at CHJIMES, 2nd half at hougang plaza K Pool... Damn exciting, Arsenal won thru penalties... 5-4 the final score, Jens Lehmann saved the crucial penalty from Paul Scholes...
Later going KKK hse to slack, and watch F1 qualifying also... Lol.. Ralf Schumacher had a big big crash in yesterday's session, turning in a fraction too early, hitting the apex of the metal barricades and his Toyota was soon left wif the cockpit onli... This reminds us again tat Monaco is a very unforgiving circuit, a slight mistake and ur race is over... This is also the onli race where all drivers have a spare car in case they crash in practice or qualifying, but no changing of cars allowed during the race....

Have been reporting to SAFTI for the past week, cos on marshalling duties for the Army Safety Exhibitions... Work is damn slack.... 6 ppl rotating shifts for juz 1 simple job of taking attendance on nominal roll, sometimes i onli work 45 mins in 1 whole day and sleep in the guardroom for the rest of the time...
Alot of free time means i oso tend to stone, and while stoning i thot of many many things... Been reliving my life in my memory from the time i entered SRJC till my enlistment and my POP, plus my adventures as a journeyman from Navy to SOA to PAD to SAFTI... Realised its been a long journey yea... Regretted not cherishing my times when studying, now missing sch life so much, also regretting some of the decisions made in my life... Haiz...
Looking ahead, there's still 1.5 year of NS yet to be completed, after tat most likely i'll be going to NTU to pursue my engineering degree... Hopefully i can join the RSAF or Singapore Technologies as an aeronautical engineer...

Weekend again!!! Days juz seem to pass by quicker when u are staying out... High five to 8-5 vocations!!!
Well last friday attended TJC choir concert with my primary sch fren... It was definitely a memorable nite... Firstly the performance was great, far better than SR ones obviously... The choir is obviously very talented, especially a few individuals... Well most importantly i got to meet up with my pri sch fren whom i have not seen for close to 7 years... Wow she's gorgeous to say the least... i almost couldn't recognise her... We chatted for quite awhile after the concert ended, then i sent her home before going back home myself...
Yesterday went to play pool with TYS at hougang plaza... A race to 11, i won 11-5!!! fantastic feeling, all my shots went down, it was terrific, it was towards the latter stages when i felt abit tired, then TYS started to claw back a couple of racks... All in all it was a sweet revenge... The previous match he had won me 11-8, so it was great to return this blow to him... haha... And he juz jio me to play again later at marine parade, this time his home court, so i muz win him also... haha...
Ok la its time i leave for marine parade le, another 1 hr bus journey there, but its alrite cos i've got the whole day, unlike KL who has alady booked in for regimental guard duty...

The weekend has almost ended, at least for many of my pals... But not me... I still have the Spanish Grand Prix and Arsenal vs Liverpool game to watch later todae...
Yesterday nite reach home very late, bout 0130 liddat, and surprising i still had a bus home... Was so ecstatic to see the bus 80 coming, thot i might have to spend money taking cab back once more...
Me, jk and kl were chatting at hougang, after playing pool at hougang plaza... Long long time never really chatted le... last time shld be while all of us were still mugging together for A levels... We talked abt alot of things, especially love... Seems alot of things happened recently, definitely turbulent times for the Senghou Gang... But i believe our brothership will take us to the end of time, overcoming the obstacles that any one of us may face...
This morning was supposed to play bball, but obviously had to be cancelled due to the torrential rain... wad a disappointment, everyone was so eager to play bball after watching Coach Carter... "You owe me 1000 push-ups and 1000 suicides, SIR!!!"
Next week will be my final week of attachment at PAD, very soon will be posted back to SOA, awaiting either for course to start early or another attachment to another ammunition depot perhaps... Hopefully its not gonna be Pasir Laba Ammo Depot, or else i would cry ar...
This friday i will be going to TJC choir concert at ACS Barker, with my primary sch fren... haha... hopefully it will be fun!!!

Todae very du lan... The stoopid 2IC and RSM talked so much abt the wad OSHAH policy that made us miss the shuttle bus yet again...Had to road march down rifle range rd yet again... wa lan eh.. super du lan... luckily met a kind hearted Mercedes driver offered to drive us down, otherwise will be stuck on the hill for damn long...
Juz read that BAR has been banned for the next 2 F1 races, bcos thier cars were underweight for the San Marino Grand Prix. The Brackley outfit will miss the Spanish Grand Prix at the Catalunya circuit, and the Monaco Grand Prix on the streets of glamourous Monte Carlo... F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone assured the remaining teams that they need not field a third car to complete the 20-car grid, the next 2 races will proceed with juz 18 cars on the start line...

Todae very happy, got letter from NTU... I got accepted into NTU Engineering... YEAH!!! Finally got some assurances that i did not cock up during application, now juz have to wait for NUS application result... If NUS also accept me then i'll decide where to go lor... If never accept then lan lan no choice lor.. haha...
Todae also finally got allowed to visit the ammo storage bunkers... Alot better than wad i think sia... Got aircon somemore... Then mostly is doing admin stuff checking the ammo... Even if need to carry the ammo boxes, got the special hydralics type of trolley to do the job, so shld be quite senang... lol...

End of long weekend... Going back to work tmrl... Seeing all of my frenz rushing to book in tonite was actually quite fun, onli me and tys staying at home for tonite...
Todae actually got class outing, but never go cos dun really wanna watch movie... Anyway there's no point for me to go oso la, nobody will miss me mah, plus dun really wanna see that guy... Though i dunno if he had done anything bad towards me, i see him oso quite sian... Perhaps we shld all keep our distances, until we forget each other... Hopefully time can heal the wounds...
Something sad happened to my good fren, it really came as a shock but u know in life, anything can happen... Hopefully he picks himself up and moves on in life... I'm sure he will find someone better in the future... This actually gave me some food for thought, are we Victorians so hopeless in love? Or issit juz us?
